Jennifer Fischer began making films in graduate school as she explored the role of media, dance and music in diaspora communities. Shortly after, she moved to Hollywood and began to recognize the value of narrative filmmaking to provoke thoughtful dialogue and engagement around issues, which she has done successfully recently with SMUGGLED, a multi-award winning narrative film telling a powerful story related to immigration.

In addition to her producing efforts, Fischer has harnessed the power of social media to become a valuable advocate for various issues and for the films and causes of Think Ten Media Group, successfully attracting media attention from ABC/Univision, Latino LA, Hispanic.Com, Mamiverse and many other well-known media outlets.

Jennifer is currently developing her next projects, including a ground-break narrative film tackling the issue of solitary confinement.
