Jennifer Powers on Cupcake Digital
Jennifer Conde-Powers has over 15 years of experience in integrated marketing, brand management and public relations at some of the top agencies in the U.S., including Ruder Finn, Burson-Marsteller, Edelman and The Vidal Partnership. Prior to joining Cupcake Digital, she was responsible for providing senior counsel, strategic insight and media relations expertise to a range of Fortune 500 companies and major corporations, including JCPenney, Sprint, Boost Mobile, TD Bank, Heineken, Kraft Foods, Diageo, Charbroil, Pfizer and McKesson.
Jennifer’s passion for high-quality children’s entertainment programming led her to develop and implement a “Kids Day” for Wizard World, one of the top pop culture “comic cons” in the country with events across the U.S. and Canada. The project was orchestrated to give parents family-friendly programing and activities at the events they love to attend so they can bring the kids. As a result of the addition of “Kid’s Day,” Wizard World Comic Cons experienced a 10% increase in attendance on otherwise low-traffic Sundays.
As VP of Operations at Cupcake Digital, Jennifer is responsible for day-to-day project management, from the development of Cupcake Digital’s deluxe storybooks and games, to managing client relations, to facilitating the marketing and sales process. She provides support in all areas of marketing including web development, social media strategy, content management, public relations and development of marketing partnerships.
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Jennifer is fluent in Spanish. She is a graduate of Emerson College where she received an Integrated Marketing Communications Master of Arts degree and Boston University College of Communication where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree.
Jennifer is very committed to the company’s mission in making apps that make for happy kids and parents. She is the proud mother of a 6-year-old who loves acting, singing reading and playing. His invaluable advice as a special member of Cupcake Digital’s Quality Assurance Team is part of what makes the company’s apps a success.
