Sittana is an 83 years old Sudanese female artist used to living a rather unconventional life for a woman of her generation. Her persistence, her creativity and her ability to go against all odds is an inspiration for the people who have opportunity to share some time with her. Sittana tells us her story: How she grew up in the old city of Omdurman, Sudan’s former capital, her father’s influence on her life and the moments where she was close to giving up but managed to get back to her special way of life. We also get an insight into the colorful world of her art, which seems to be an infinite source of positive energy for her and her environment.
